Modern geometry was written to provide undergraduate and graduate level mathematics education students with an introduction to both euclidean and non euclidean geometries approprite to their needs as future junior and senior high school mathematics teachers.i believe that the need for this sort of training in many areas of mathematics is more critical today than at any time in recent history.
