Thematic exegesis (at-Tafsir al Maudu'iy) is a method of interpretation being introduced by exegets(tafsir scholar) to provide responses and answers toward current issues within the society through the guidance of the qur'an.Through this method,tafsir scholar let the qur'an talk by itself concerning many issues.The book entitled Islamic moderatism and its role in empowering harmony within society is presenting several topics as follows introduction,principles of moderation in Islam,islamic tolerance to other religions,diversity as sunnatullah,end characters of moderate Islam.
