The perception of the eight semester students of English and Literature Department of Adab and Humanities Faculty UIN Alauddin Makassar in learning ambiguous sentences in english (in 2008/2009 academic year)
based on the result, to overcom the student's difficulty learning ambiguous sentence in english, the writer puts forward conclusion as follow: the lecturer should increase the frequency in teaching in english; the lecturer should apply a teaching mthod in which students can develop their vocabulary and make the students easy to understands the material
