in this research, researcher found that there are two major characters; they are Sara Fitzgerald and Anna Fitzgerald. the emotions expressed by both major characters are: anger, anxiety, disgust, enthusiasm, gratitude, guilt, love, and sadness. the emotions found in this novel were analyzed based on Sigmund Freud's analytic theory that are Id, ego, and super ego.
