the result of this research shows that there are 1386 utterances. the writer found four types; those are declarative sentences that have 975 utterances or 70,34%, interrogative sentences that have 228 utterances or 16,45%, exclamatory sentences that have 11 utterances or 0,79%, and imperative sentences that have 172 utterances or 12,40%. in addition, it was also found performative verbs. those are verdictives that have 668 utterances or 48.19%, exertives that have 445 utterances or 32.11%, commissives that have 85 utterances or 6.13%, behabitives that have 105 utterances or 7.60% and expositives that have 83 utterances or 5,99%
