The Pronounciation of English Fricative by Makassarese students in second semester of English and Literature Department of Adab and Humanities Faculty Academic Year 2013-2014
The data present that Makassarese student in english program stay in the low level how to pronounce english fricative consonant in all position. they are difficult to pronouce ᵭ, ʃ, Θ, Ӡ. It because in makassar language only have 2 fricative consonant.
