Based on the result of the research, the writer found 25 ellipsis included there kinds of ellipsis, they are nominal ellipsis (NE), verbal ellipsis (VE), and clausal ellipsis (CE), then, the function of ellipsis are speaker's economy, removing readings, convey non-expressible aspect of meaning establishing discourse coherence, and establishing positive relationship with hearer.
