This research aimed to describe about the reception of adult in anime lover community toward the story of animated- cartoon in mashshi khishimotos serial Naruto. This research focused on communities of anime lover especially in Makassar which the members were teenagers adult who indicates watching Naruto as the social phenomenon become part of popular cultures This research focused on the aestetic reception Seger’s theory whichtried to the scribe the response of 7 adult seen from emotional aspects on story. thus, the data where analysed using the scriptif qualitative method. The researcher found that the reception of adult toward the inctristic elemen of Naruto story actually brought the interest toward the adult because of the interesting story line, the various character whit strong charchterization that inpressed them, and conflict that succed arousing tension in adults feeling also influenced their emotion when they where watching; they got moral messages and made them to know further the culture of japan
